Laboratory germination indicators of weigela seeds

The values of germination and germination energy of 3 Weigela species seeds in the Botanical Garden-Institute of VSUT (Yoshkar-Ola, the Mari El Republic) are given. The seeds of the 2021 harvest were studied, their germination was carried out in the spring of the following year in Petri dishes. W. praecox had the highest seed germination (87-92%), W. middendorffiana had the lowest one (23-34%). To stimulate the germination of W. middendorffiana seeds, the use of the drug "HВ-101" is recommended. Compared to 2014 and 2015, the seeds of the 2021 harvest were characterized by better quality.
