Weight indicators of maple (Acer) fruits in Botanical Garden-Institute of VSUT

The article presents the 2-year study results of the fruit mass of 6 maple species growing in the Arboretum of the Botanical Garden-Institute of VSUT (Republic of Mari El, Yoshkar-Ola). It was found that in excessively moist and cooler conditions in 2017, the fruit weight was less than in slightly arid conditions in 2014. Acer spicatum had the smallest mass of fruits, А. campestre and А. negundo had the largest one. Smaller fruits had a higher yield value of exsanguinated fruits.
