Performance indicators of machine-tractor units when using activated fuel

In the course of performing energy-intensive agricultural operations by the machine-tractor unit, the external moment of resistance is continuously changing on the engine crankshaft, which leads to a variation in the speed of the unit, as well as to a change in the rotational speed of the tractor engine crankshaft. To increase the productivity of the machine-tractor unit and overcome shortterm overloads, there is a need to improve the power and economic performance of agricultural tractors. Power plants (ЭУ) on tractors currently burn up to 75% of fuel on average, and the remaining 25% of fuel and products of its incomplete combustion are thrown into the engine exhaust pipe. That is, no more than 75% of diesel fuel fully burns with conversion into heat in existing serial engines. The article shows the need to search for new ways to improve the combustion of fuel in the internal combustion engine, which can have a positive effect directly on the performance of the MTA and increase the amount of that part of the fuel converted into useful heat, which previously practically «flew» into the exhaust pipe. This, in turn, will allow the diesel engine to adapt to the changing operating conditions of the MTU. The paper gives an energy analysis of the use of the proposed device for increasing the degree of fuel combustion in an internal combustion engine, presents the results of a quantitative and qualitative assessment of the power capabilities of the MTU, depending on physical (such as magnetic permeability and susceptibility) and chemical (density, viscosity, flash point, fractional composition) of the properties of the fuel that affect its energy saturation. It is noted that the basis for the modernization of the tractor fuel system on the basis of the new device is the electromagnetic treatment of diesel fuel before combustion (its activation). This is achieved by installing in the injector a solenoid with a hollow copper base, which is part of the fuel line.
