Barley yield indicators and factors influencing its formation

The article presents the results of testing 8 varieties of spring barley in the conditions of the Priobskaya zone of the Altai Territory. The research was conducted in 2021-2022 in order to identify the most productive barley varieties. It was found that the interaction of environmental and genotypic factors has a greater impact on the formation of the "yield" trait. The varieties characterized as extensive (Aley, Zolotnik and Kedrovich) and intensive (Atiko, Vorsinsky 2, Reserve) have been identified.
