The article deals with the problems related to the turnover in the consumer market of counterfeit products; investigated citizens ‘ judgments about this negative phenomenon and their attitude to the cases of acquisition of goods with signs of counterfeiting; studied aspects related to the possibility of introducing criminal liability to buyers purchasing products manufactured in violation of the right to a trademark.
