Field of radiation of linear antennas in the near zone

Бесплатный доступ

In the literature on antennas, when solving the problem of the radiation field of a cylindrical radiator, it is shown that in the near zone of this radiator the field has a large turbulence, that is, it depends on the higher degrees of the distance r between the antenna and the observation point. It is of interest to verify this result, for example, for a linear antenna with a uniform field distribution along the length. It is proposed to determine the field in the near zone of the antenna by integrating the fields of the wave front elements along the length of the antenna. The calculated ratios allowing to determine the radiation field at the near-field observation points and the antenna pattern are obtained. The results of calculations showed the operability of the proposed methodology.
