The article compares polyphony in the Dialogues of Plato and polyphony in the novels of Dostoevsky. The authors consider genre, stylistic and hermeneutic aspects of Dostoevsky’s works, analyze the most significant forms of dialogues and levels of text construction. The study draws a conclusion of independent and unique nature of the Dostoevsky’s philosophy.
