The technique of research, law of formation and structural properties of the polymer films and the particulates formed in a glow discharge of adamantane are described. Also, the comparison was made of the formation kinetics and the structure of the films grown in various bands of the discharge. The films compared were those formed at electrodes and at the substrates having the floating potential. The supramolecular structure of the films and the particulates was investigated. The influence of embedding polymer powder on the formation of the synthesizing film has been evaluated. The cathode surface was found the place of the greatest rate of the film formation as well as the negative glow was that for the particles. Time dependence of the rates of formation was near to linear. The same was the rate of formation as a function of a discharge current.
