Polymer-bitumen binding - high-tech principal for new-generated asphalt

The paper reviews road bitumen modification with polymers. It discusses the current situation in the Road sector of the East Siberian region. The service life of pavement depends on traffic intensity and climatic conditions in the sections being used. Increasing efficiency of road construction requires high quality road construction materials, whereas bitumen is considered the most important and expensive.
