The article is devoted to the investigation of the doping problem in modern sports, when the sports arena is turned into a battleground for political players. The author is of the opinion that it is time to get rid of ideological prejudices and to separate sport from politics. The Olympic Games themselves have historically appeared as a representation of human achievements and a mechanism of reconciliation of the belligerent parties, since wars ceased for the period of the Olympic Games. The revived Olympic Games in the modern world should strictly follow the historical traditions and bring peace and good to people. Modern inflection in the sport in the direction of political battles is a violation of all norms and rules of sports competitions, Olympic traditions and blind submission of the world of sports to a dirty political struggle. The principle of differentiation of sporting events, where all participate in the Olympic Games without restrictions on doping, and in the world championships strict control is carried out and each state is responsible for the representative of his country, in the author's opinion, is the most rational option for solving the existing problem. It seems that a mutually beneficial option is found where in the first case the athlete shows an achievement in sports, human opportunities finally, and in the second case the status of the state or the ideological component of the human society from where he came to the competitions.
