Political values of Russian youth: results of the study

The article describes the main results of an empirical study of the political values of Russian youth, conducted in the spring and summer of 2017 by a team of State University of Management. The article describes the main results of empirical study concerning the political values of Russian youth. The results of the study became the basis for the preparation of the annual report on the situation of youth and the implementation of youth policy in the Russian Federation. The quantitative method of primary data collection (survey of young people aged 16-24 years, a nationwide representative sample of 1 600 respondents) and qualitative method (in-depth interviews with experts - scientists and heads of work with youth) were conducted. Young people's perceptions about the key values of the Russian state and the degree of endorsement of these values were revealed. Basing on the results, the authors suggest rerouting the work with the youth.
