Political repression in relation to citizens of Mongolia and China in the territory of BM ASSR

The article deals with the problem of political repression, apply state bodies of the USSR against the people of China and Mongolia, from the territory of Buryat-Mongol Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. The novelty of the study is that for the first time introduces a historical data about the inhabitants of China and Mongolia during the period of political repression in the Soviet Union. This article uses statistical material "Book of Memory of Victims of Political Repression in the Republic of Buryatia", based on which the author was able to identify the demographic, gender and age, and some other information about those arrested in the USSR residents of China and Mongolia. The author reveals the duration of the penalties and preventive measures applied in respect of the residents adjacent to the Buryat-Mongolia countries. In conclusion, the article refers to the regional characteristics of repression against the people of China and Mongolia, dictated by international relations with neighboring countries. Just to summarize the author mentions the fact that the problem of political repression because of the increasing relevance of the issue requires a more thorough investigation, involving the archives of both Russian and foreign.
