Strategic models in politics: basic properties and conditions of universality

The article emphasizes conceptual importance of strategic modeling in politics based on the strategic management methodology. The main reasons of growing interest to the analysis of strategic models operating within political process are increasing instability of major segments of political systems, prolonged political and economic crises, as well as the lack of approved conflict resolution scenarios in the contemporary academic discourse.
