The political image of the civil service: phenomenon of modernity

The article describes the features of the political image of the civil service in Russia and some of the factors that influence its development. The author concludes that improvement of the political image of civil servants and attitude to them of various groups of population is connected both with the enhancement of officials' moral qualities that manifest themselves in their relations with citizens and with increased openness and transparency in the activities of the state bodies.
