Policy of federalism in Russian history: problems of national statehood and cooperation between nations

The history of federalism origin and development is considered in the article. The influence of national policy on the policy of the state is reflected. The state national policy predetermined the whole process of Russian multinational civilization development. Historical continuity and purposefulness of the Russian nations' unity in new conditions is revealed.
