The policy of ensuring economic security of Russia

This article discusses the policy of economic security in the Russian Federation, its goals, objectives and methods. The article describes the main approaches used to define the concept of “national economic security”. The authors analyzed one of the fundamental documents of the state policy on economic security is the “Strategy of national security of the Russian Federation until 2030”. This document is an important element of the country’s economic security system, which sets the direction of long-term development, as well as external and internal threats. The study of state policy to ensure the economic security of the country showed internal and external threats, goals, actions and methods of state policy to ensure the economic security of Russia. In order to monitor the economic situation in the country, the authors analyzed the relevant indicators characterizing its economic security: the quality of life of the population, the competitiveness of the national economy, the degree of involvement of Russian enterprises in the world market and the ability to benefit from participation in the international division of labor, the rate of economic growth, unemployment, budget deficit, its dynamics, external and internal public debt.
