The policy of the Russian parties and movements in respect of religion and freedom of worship (the late 1980's - the middle of 2000's)

The article deals with the policy of the Russian political parties and movements shaped and implemented in respect of religion and freedom of worship in the post-Soviet period. Considered and classified are the models of the relations between the parties and the church and offered is the periodisation of these relations. Unveiled are the incentives making the parties employ the religious institutions and the mechanisms of such an employment.
