The Political-Philosophical Discourse of China’s Modernization

The article analyzes the theoretical and methodological approaches adopted in Chinese scholarship to understand the phenomenon of modernization, define the concept of “modernization”, examine the characteristics of the Chinese model of modernization, outline the main stages of China’s modernization, and identify its key directions of implementation. It is noted that the Chinese model of modernization synthesizes traditional and modern, Chinese and Western cultures. Currently, the Chinese modernization model is not only searching for its own foundation but also enriching the global discourse with a range of theoretical and practical innovations, adjusting the understanding of the concept of modern civilization and contemporary development, and broadening the global vision of modernization.
