Modern aspects of political and economic sanctions in the international relations

This article deals with modern aspects of international political and economic sanctions. The author gives his own definition of international sanctions, taking into account modern realities of world politics. The article provides an analysis of a mechanism for international sanctions on the example of actions against Russia and its countermeasures.
