Political and legal processes of post-conflict settlement in Nagorno-Karabakh

The article analyzes the post-conflict settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The author studies in detail the reasons of the failure of the peacekeeping mission of the OSCE Minsk group, in particular, discrepancy of approaches to resolution of the ethno-conflict situation. Joint diplomatic participation, outside forcing of world powers, solution in the form of a package - the author discusses strong and weak points of each ap- proach to the resolution of the conflict in the Caucasus region and comes to the conclusion, that there is a need for a comprehensive peacekeeping policy capable of minimizing ethno-political and geopolitical risks of intensified ethnic clashes.
