Political and legal views of I.T. Pososhkov on problems of the state and rights

The focus of the study is the political and legal views of Ivan Tikhonovich Pososhkov. The author emphasizes that many ideas expressed by the thinker are reflected in the modern world. The thinker was one of the first to formulate the problems of overcoming Russia’s backwardness and justify the conditions for its prosperity and progressive development. Based on his beliefs, life and business experience, he made an attempt to formulate proposals on the state structure, improvement of church life, in the field of justice, changes in the rights and obligations of estates, as well as regulation of economic relations both within the country and with foreign countries.
