The Polotsk monastery in the iconographic sources: reconstruction of conditions preservation of values

The article describes some historical and cultural objects of the (functioning) church. The analysis of the microclimate and the condition of the Savior Transfiguration church of the XII century is based on the iconographic sources. Some historical facts are highlighted because they have influenced movable cultural values.
