The positives and negatives of digital economy in Russia

The main trends in the development of the digital economy in Russia until 2035are considered. The article provides several definitions of the “digital economy”,on the one hand, as a suppliment to the virtual environment existing today, onthe other hand - as a basis for improving the socio-economic development of thecountry as a whole. The features of the industrial enterprises development duringthe digitalization process are indicated. Statistical data on the digital economyshare from the total GDP of Russia and other developed countries are presented. Itgives the forecast for individual industries and professions with the digital economydevelopment. Statistical data on the industrial robots implementation in theRussian market for the last 10 years and the number of robots implemented for 10000 jobs in 2016 in Russia are presented. The negative and positive aspects of themain technological trends in the sphere of digital transformation of the industryare described.
