Production of silicon iron powder

Two electrochemical methods for the preparation of iron powder are considered. The first method involves the use of a high density cathode current in the electrolysis process. As for the second method, the contact exchange method was used. The proposed method, along with the preparation of iron powder, allows purification of an aluminum-sulfate electrolyte from iron ions for finishing anodic preparation of steel parts before ironing.
