Relief work of peoples of Russia in regions suffered from the natural and industrial disasters in the USSR (second half of the 20th century)

The article deals with the consequences of natural and industrial disasters in the Soviet Union in the second half of the twentieth century and relief works of Russia in the suffered regions. The special attention is paid to the earthquakes in Uzbekistan, Dagestan, Armenia, and the Chernobyl accident. The paper also cites numerous examples of mutual assistance, brotherhood, compassion and humanity of the peoples of Russia.
