The concept and legal nature of state control

Only in recent years, state control has been the subject of scrutiny on the part of national science and political practice, although it has existed in the Russian Federation and other countries for a long time, over several centuries. State control is based primarily on the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the content of which determines its main operational areas and principles. In this paper, the author examines the concept of state control, determines that the concept “state control” combines state control itself and state supervision, additionally he reviews such signs of state control as content specifics, scale, power of implementation, systematicity, procedurality, permanency, the possibility of negative consequences for controlled objects, a specific range of tasks.
