The article is devoted to some issues related to criminal staging. The author pays attention to the concept of staging and its purposes, identifies the main classifications of criminal staging. The article analyses the signs of criminal staging, outlines the stages of formation of criminal staging, and also draws attention to the need to identify the signs of staging for further overcoming the considered method of countering the investigation of crimes.
