The article examines the concept and essence of the organization of prosecutorial supervision over the execution of laws in the reception, registration and resolution of reports of crimes; the relevance of the study is due to the need for a clear definition of the subject of the Prosecutor’s activity, determining its place in the classification among other activities to streamline and effectively distribute responsibilities within the implementation of the entire range of Supervisory powers of the Prosecutor’s office; previously proposed by lawyers interpretations of this concept are considered, their strengths and inaccuracies are revealed; a substantive analysis of the text of the main document, which sets out the departmental rules of legal regulation of the type of prosecutorial supervision, as well as appropriate terminology and guidelines for prosecutors at all levels, as a result of the study proposed a definition of the concept and essence of the organization of prosecutorial supervision over the execution of laws in the reception, registration and resolution of reports of crimes; the article reveals the internal structure of this concept through the content of prosecutorial activities on planned and organizational training, material, technical and methodological support, as well as direct supervision of the implementation of laws in the reception, registration and resolution of reports of crimes.
