The concept of iatrogenic offences in the field of cosmetology services, inadequate safety

The article considers approaches to understanding the essence and content of iatrogeny and iatrogenic crimes from the medical, criminal-legal and criminalistics points of view, which allow to determine their characteristic features. Extrapolating the obtained results to the specifics of rendering cosmetology services that do not meet safety requirements and caused harm to human health and (or) life, reflected in the relevant investigative and judicial practice, the author concludes that this category of cases is attributable to a special type of iatrogenic crimes. The result of the conducted research is the formulated definition of iatrogenic crimes in the sphere of rendering cosmetology services that do not meet safety requirements.
