In market conditions to ensure economic development, organizations are forced to constantly monitor and improve the economic efficiency of their activities. The article is devoted to the definition of the concept of the effectiveness of the organization. Special attention is paid to considering the essence of the concept of efficiency from the point of view of various approaches. The characteristics of the types of efficiency are given from the point of view of various classifications. The system of indicators used to study the effectiveness of the economic activity of the organization and the methods of their calculation have been determined.
