An enterprise is a complex system that includes a number of basic elements and links between them. Therefore, it is necessary to form a system of solutions that will ensure its economic security. However, despite the great interest of domestic and foreign scientists and practitioners, the conceptual apparatus in this area is in the process of becoming. The paper discusses the views of various authors on this issue. This will increase the reliability of methods for assessing the level of economic security of the enterprise.
