The concept of clusters, principles of their formation and functioning in the modern conditions of the economy

This article presents the main results of the review of the works of domestic and foreign authors on the cluster theme. We consider the existing approaches to the definition of the interpretation of "cluster", presented in the literature on economic geography and regional economics, the analysis of the main characteristics of clusters, characteristics of their classification and types of clusters allocated to the various domestic and foreign researchers.
