The concept of love in the traditional culture of Mordovian ethnos: axiological approach

The author examines the concept of love in the traditional culture of the Mordovian ethnos basing on the analysis of oral poetry, archival material, onomastics, the toponymy of geographical names and mythology. The article analyzes such kinds of love as the mother»s one, the love between parents and children and individual sexual love. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that the concept of love in the traditional culture of the Mordovians is investigated in multidimensional terms through the prism of moral consciousness, moral behavior and relationships.
