The concept of alienation in the philosophy of G.W.F. Gegel and K. Marx

The purpose of this article is to consider the concept of alienation in its development - from the philosophy of Hegel to the philosophy of Marx. If in Hegel alienation characterizes the inevitable path of the formation of an absolute spirit, then for Marx this category is filled with materialistic meaning. Now it relates exclusively to the socio-historical formation of man in the process of his liberation through the means of labor. Alienation for Marx is the principle of criticism of capitalism.
