The concept of the court as an element of civil society and state in the "Philosophy of law" of G.W.F. Hegel

Hegel attributed the institution of the court to the sphere of civil society. However, he did not oppose it to the state and state power, but, on the contrary, regarded it as a link between two forms of the phenomenon of a single moral substance of society. The court is an expression of the "subjectness" of civil society, just as the "court of history" is the expression of the "subjectness" of international relations. The court of history for Hegel is the supreme sovereign over the peoples and at the same time the highest result of the development of law.
