The article discusses various grounds for classifying evidence in a criminal trial, including the nature of the relationship with the circumstances, the mechanism of evidence formation, and so on. In addition, the article proposes an additional criterion for classifying evidence: by its affiliation with a particular subject of the criminal trial (evidence from the prosecution and defense).
