Subject of a bribe: legal aspects and social consequences

The article defines the concept of the subject of a bribe. Various types of subjects of a bribe are analyzed. It is assessed how corruption undermines trust in government institutions and negatively affects social development. The main articles enshrined in the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, containing crimes in the field of bribery, are considered. Recommendations for improving law enforcement and preventing corruption in society are contained. This article considers the legal aspects of the subject of a bribe, its types, as well as the social consequences associated with the practice of bribery.
