The notions of the "rule-of-law state" and civil" society" in the socio-cultural dimension

Legal culture as one of the constituent elements of general public culture on the one hand reflects specifics of the legal consciousness formed by this stage in political and legal development of the state. On the other hand legal culture is a kind of foundation contributing to the further positive dynamics of social consciousness in this direction. The paper contains the results of the public opinion polls performed by the author.
