Conceptual and categorical framework of forensic science

The article discusses the requirements that the conceptual and categorical framework of forensic science should meet: the unity of terminology, stability, accuracy and consistency, as well as the content of each of them is revealed. The problems of the lack of common understanding, accuracy and consistency in the use of various forensic terms, concepts and categories, as well as the influence of this factor on the formation of forensic knowledge and the practice of their application are justified.
