Conceptual couples “community/society” by F. Tennis and “mechanical/organic solidarity” by E. Durkheim: comparative analysis

In this article we compare the concepts of "Community and society" and "Mechanical and organic Solidarity" of two representatives of sociology at the turn of the 19th - 20th centuries - Ferdinand Tennis and Emil Durkheim. After analyzing these conceptual pairs, we came to the conclusion that in the process of understanding the same processes, thinkers came to two radically different conclusions.
