In modern times, an additional impulse to the whole system of economic sciences was given by the accumulation of facts and the practical need to explain the phenomena of names in the field of commodity-money relations. Promotion of trade through the Internet is explained by a number of factors, which are given in the article. In the course of the study, the ways of paying for purchases in electronic commerce were analyzed, the procedure for recording transactions related to the payment of goods in each of the considered methods was disclosed.
