Сharolais breed in the XXI century

The author analyzed the status, number, productivity and breeding abilities of the Сharolais cattle in different countries. The data on the using of the Сharolais cattle for blooded breeding and crossing of milk cows for obtaining of fatling were presented. The technology for growing and fattening of the Сharolais bulls was described. The efficiency of the using of mother stock of the Сharolais breed was considered.
