Portrait of a person in the interior of the Eurasian culture (review of the book "Alexander Alexandrovich Gorbachev: scientifi c, pedagogical and creative activity")

The article contains an analysis and evaluation of the scientifi c and pedagogical and artistic and creative activities of a well known cultural fi gure in Russia and Kazakhstan, Professor Alexander Gorbachev. The presentation is based on the materials of the biobibliographic index of works and covers the results of his many years of work on the implementation of author's training projects in the universities of culture and art. Edition dedicated to A. A. Gorbachev, it turned out to be somewhat non standard, since the usual version of bibliographic indexes consists of lists of published materials and documents that are complex in their structure, united by some sign and equipped with auxiliary indexes that facilitate the search and grouping of materials. Our index fully meets these requirements. All of his material is systematized according to a signifi cantly expanded plan, which, in our opinion, will satisfy the interest of a curious reader. The reference apparatus of the bibliography provides an understanding of each section of the index. The thematic coverage is quite wide: it contains essays dedicated to A. A. Gorbachev, his scientifi c works, projects and reviews, reviews of prominent scientists and cultural fi gures of Russia and Kazakhstan. His international, scientifi c and pedagogical activities, speeches at conferences, paintings and exhibitions, articles in the print media, scientifi c collections edited by him, dissertations of students are refl ected. The content is presented in the retrospective and prospective contexts of the development of Russian and Kazakh culture.
