Pinus mugo seed testing in Botanical Garden Institute of Volga State University of Technology

The research purpose was Pinus mugo seed testing for determination its reproductive capacity in Botanical garden-institute of VSUT. To achieve this goal we identified seed testing characteristics from 5 taxons. The evaluation of seed testing demonstrated good reproductive capacity, while seeds had low degree of fullness. According to this research seeds sorting by flotation are recommended for growing Pinus mugo seedlings.
