Intermediatory functions of Russian commercial banks under disintermediation conditions

It is stated herein that the conditions required for an effective implementation of intermediatory functions by banks in Russia have not been created yet, that is supported by the fact that there is a disintermediation in the Russian bank sector reflected in the bank intermediatorship dysfunction. In order to solve this problem, required are measures to be taken as soon as possible that are prescribed in the Bank Sector Development Strategy.
