Time comprehension in the French philosophy of 17 centuries: Blez Pascal and Rehe Descartes’s

In article time problem which intensity of perception was recorded during a baroque era in a subject of caducity (Vanitas) and emblems corresponding to it is analyzed. The contents of article illustrate as the well-known image of «a conceiving reed» which was urged to transfer tragicly paradoxical life of the person, and understanding of eternity to R Descartes's philosophies as the actual present in which there are no conditions and decay. Article explains why awareness of temporariness of life of the person and mankind, its mortality and an extremity in the history of culture was accompanied by tragic experience.
