The article considers postmodern conception of culture and its expression in the Latin American literature, as well as constituents of the conception. The author analyzes the postmodern conception by study a novel of the Argentine writer Julio Cortazar’s “Hopscotch”, emphasizing Cortazar’s interpretation of the “new literature” term.
