The article analyzes the relationship existing between the philosophy of life of F. Nietzsche and cultural ideas of M. Foucault. The analysis undertaken by the author has shown that there is a change in scientific paradigms, i.e. a shift from the philosophy of culture to the cultural studies in this direction.
