Constructing ground control system for manned spacecraft based on multi-purpose ground station of the command and measurement system

Бесплатный доступ

The paper discusses the Ground Control System for future Manned Spacecraft (MSC GCS), including the Russian Orbital Station and the crew transportation spacecraft, during ascent to orbit and operations in low-Earth and circumlunar orbits. To monitor and control the MSC flight, both directly and through repeaters, it is proposed to use the Multi-purpose Ground Station of the Command and Measurement System (CMS MGS) with software-defined signal structure. Using simulation modeling, optimized siting is provided for CMS MGS during launches of MSC to various orbits from the Vostochny launch site. The paper formulates scientific and engineering problems in MSC GCS development.
