The remuneration system is one of the main elements that determine the level of motivation of workers and staff to implement their work. It is the sufficiency of payment that indicates the possibility of increasing the productivity of labor resources. The problems that arise in the field of remuneration are well studied in science, but the concept of the effectiveness of the company's current payment system and its assessment raise many questions. This problem is especially relevant for Russia, where the population does not have enough capital, and wages are extremely low. The paper proposes to consider the possibility of evaluating the system of remuneration of an economic entity in order to identify its effectiveness in comparison with other enterprises of the analyzed industry. To do this, it is possible to build a rating assessment, which will include indicators such as employee satisfaction with wages and their compliance with the average industry indicators. Combining these coefficients will allow you to get a score and compare the company with each other. Expanding the list of coefficients will also reveal problem areas and the validity of the current payment level. Based on the proposed method, in the future it is possible to take a different look at the performance of various business entities, as well as to develop recommendations for changing the remuneration system or other non-material incentives aimed at achieving the company's strategic goals.
